Global Awareness Week 3

This week I learned how to make an iMovie. I am also working on taking pictures of things around the community that people are doing to improve our lives. I am working on getting myself a spot at the soup kitchen this month to work and help the people that run, and started it. While I'm there I hope to talk to the workers and ask them questions about their inspiration for opening the S.O.U.L. Kitchen, and how they made it happen.

Global Awareness Week Two

This week I learned how to use Polldaddy, (a make-your-own online survey website). Other people in my class took the survey I made. I also made a graph of the poll results. To make the graph I used Microsoft Excel. Plus I found more information on things going on in my community!

Global Awareness Week One

This past week I gathered information about Richland Center and Richland County. I plan to use this information in a video I want to make about Global Awareness right here at home. I also used the Chamber of Commerce website to find what things people are already doing to improve our communtity. I hope to shoot some footage at a few events eventually!

Global Awareness

        A few ideas I have to make a  difference in Global Awareness are, informing myself about things happening in the world, accepting and other cultures and embracing my culture and who I am. Global Awareness has no point unless other people contribute. It's a group effort and a "worldwide" effort. Watching the news or reading non-fiction articles can help you understand why things happen and how you can do something about it.
